2010 Arizona Appraisers Conference

The most recent Arizona Appraisers State Conference will be held Friday and Saturday April 23 and 24. According to the newsletter the conference will follow two major themes: 1.  Structure and Legislation regarding the regulation of Appraisers – Update. 2.  Technology - How to Improve the quality and credibility of reports while reducing the preparation time. Are Appraisals a Commodity?

 Today, as with nearly every day, we received  a new order due yesterday and demanding that we pay them for the privilege of breathing. Well, not exactly. It was more like 3 days and a fee of $275 for a 1073. After a little research we find that the subject is a single family home that is just about 4000SF. We advised of the form correction and requested a fee of $350. Still a bit low, but they are a potential new client. CANCELED. The only reason was $$$.
